Innovative choices for greater quality and comfort

When it comes to your home comfort system, there's more to the story
Take a look at your home comfort system. If you have an air conditioner outside, then you may also have an indoor coil and furnace inside. You might say the coil is the other, less visible part of your system. While a coil may be a component that you're not very familiar with, it's just as important to your home's comfort as your air conditioner. And, because the coil was designed to work in tandem with your outdoor unit and furnace, it's important that they match in both size and capacity.

Trane can help you make a perfect match
A matched system gives you maximum performance and efficiency. And, that's where Trane comes in. When you install a new Trane air conditioner, your dealer can help you select the right TRANE Comfort™ Coil to go with it. Remember, your outdoor condensing unit and your indoor coil work together as a team—a new air conditioner's efficiency will be significantly reduced if it's paired with an old, existing coil. An older coil, or a non-Trane coil, may even differ in cooling capacity, leaving you with an unbalanced system and higher than necessary utility bills.

All-Aluminum Comfort™ coils
With a strong heritage in aluminum outdoor coils, Trane has applied our innovative thinking to develop the industry's only all-aluminum indoor coil. Rust resistant and almost corrosion-free, our all-aluminum coils set a new industry standard by preventing leaks that often occur from corrosives like salt or common household cleaning products.

Comfort coil benefits

Our TRANE Comfort™ Coils are also designed to work in tandem with your outdoor condensing unit and/or furnace. They are matched in both size, efficiency and capacity to ensure optimal performance of your home comfort system.

Precision-engineered for reliable performance and quality
Each TRANE Comfort™ Coil is designed to provide your family with outstanding comfort all year round.

At Trane, we strive to bring you the highest quality and performance through innovative technology and precision engineering. So when you choose the right Comfort coil, you can be sure you’ll enjoy the benefits of the best home comfort system money can buy.

Tested for durability
Like all of the components in our high-quality home comfort systems, each coil goes through a rigorous testing stage to insure durability and reduce leaks.

We test each coil with pressurized helium to 325 pounds per square inch. This allows us to detect a leak as small as .10 ounce per year. A small amount, we know, but because any leak will lower your system’s efficiency, any leak is unacceptable. Lasting durability means your home will be comfortable now and for years to come.

Cleaner air makes your family breathe easier
Indoor coils are often dirty because they’re usually difficult to clean. But all TRANE Comfort coils are designed for each cleaning. If your home’s indoor coil has never been cleaned, it could look like this one. However, Trane coils are made with 100% foil-backed insulation, so they are easily wiped down.

The result is a cleaner coil and cleaner air for your family. So, whether you clean it yourself, or include it in a basic service contract (recommended), a clean coil will yield higher performance and cleaner air in your home.
