The air in your home circulates through your heating or cooling system, carrying millions of airborne particles through the ductwork. As the air goes through the pre-filter, it traps the majority of the large particles. It also helps extend the time between cleaning the collection cells.

Opposites Attract. Then we charge the smaller ones.

Drawing power from the system transformer, the TRANE CleanEffects™ field charge creates a series of electrically charged corona fields through which incoming air must pass. Since the air passes through many small, electrical fields, rather than over a single charged metal wire or plate, more airborne contaminants are charged than in traditional electronic air cleaner systems, meaning more particles are collected.

With the TRANE CleanEffects™ collection element, the glory is in the details. Each layer is only 0.08 inches apart, with alternating charges, making for a stronger, more effective collection field that traps particles down to .3 microns in size.
